LR 101 - Library Module

The first step to learning LR is the use of the Library module. This module allows you to import your photos into LR and ultimately access those photos in all the other modules. However, the Library module can be so much more than that.

Unlike film photography, where you might run out of film after 12 exposures, digital photographers have the ability to capture hundreds (sometimes thousands) of photographs on one SD or CF card. Pair the ability to take hundreds of photographs and someone that is in the beginning stages of learning photography and you can quickly have an unorganized mess on your hands. This is where the Library module can help you.

In the video below, I will take you through my Library module workflow and show you how I keep my photographs organized using LR.
